Lord Jim – The Boat – From the start

Lord Jim was built in 1976 at Camper & Nicholsons yard in Southampton to Lloyds 100A1 class (being the most rigorous classification available for any vessel at that time) enabled her to engage in her circumnavigational career.

Her strength and hull shape make Lord Jim an unbeatable all weather round the world comfortable platform for enjoyment and expeditions, currently completing her fourth circumnavigation.

Comprising of a steel hull, aluminium deck house and newly fitted Burmese Teak decks, make this classically designed twin-masted sailing vessel aesthetically pleasing for both non boat and boat connoisseurs.

Those who are pleased by her classic lines will not be disappointed by the beautiful mahogany interior which boasts three fully appointed luxury en-suite cabins and a two to four berth forward cabin for larger parties or children.

The attention to the detail of the soft furnishings, sumptuous towelling and monogrammed robes, would be the envy of many high calibre hotels.

Relaxed in the knowledge that the large fully equipped wheel house is taking care of the business end of the navigation and sailing, there is also ample room for guests to use this as an all weather viewing platform.

It’s not difficult when you see the high specification galley, to appreciate that in this attention to detail, you might expect the same quality from the cuisine produced there, and you won’t be disappointed.

Once the sun has “dipped below the yardarm”, relax in the saloon area and request some rather special attention to your drinking choices pre-dinner.

You will find our selection of Malt Whiskies and cocktails to be as mouth watering as the food.

Being fully equipped for all forms of water activities and outdoor adventure, makes Lord Jim the ideal resort for your Sailing in the Mediterranean, The Canary Islands or The Cape Verde Experience.
